Former Vendéen breeder and renowned sheep judge, Pat Oliver, took his time to meticulously
adjudicate all the sheep presented to him.
The lamb classes had 20 in each and the judge putt each sheep through its paces to evaluate it for correctness, breed characteristics, quality and presentation. In the ram lamb class he put forward a tidy ram from Ciaran Coughlan’s Noggus flock while in the ewe lamb class, Cheryl O’Brien’s lamb by Quitrent Leonard, the winner of the Shearling ram class, was tapped forward.
